At Bethwaite Design, we operate as a design and distribution company — not a manufacturer. As such, we offer flexible shipping options to best serve your needs, whether you prefer to manage your own logistics or have us handle it for you through our trusted suppliers.

 

 

1. Shipping Options

You can choose one of the following shipping methods at checkout:

Self-Managed Pickup or Shipping

  • You may opt to pick up your order directly from our licensed supplier or arrange your own courier service.

  • This is ideal if you already have relationships with freight companies or prefer to handle logistics personally.

  • In this case, no shipping charge is applied by Bethwaite Design.

Bethwaite-Managed Shipping

  • If you prefer, Bethwaite Design can organize shipping on your behalf using our suppliers’ existing freight partnerships.

  • This option includes a 10% service fee added to the calculated shipping cost.

  • Our suppliers will:

    • Handle all logistics and dispatch

    • Share tracking details directly with you

    • Take responsibility for shipping performance

 

 

2. How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

Shipping quotes provided during checkout are estimates based on:

  • Delivery destination

  • Product dimensions and weight

  • Real-time rates from three independent shipping companies

  • A 10% service fee for Bethwaite Design's coordination

These quotes are designed to cover the full cost of shipping arrangements made by our suppliers, so no additional shipping charges are incurred after purchase.

 

 

3. Large or Unusual Shipments

Some products (such as masts or complete boats) exceed 3 meters in length or require custom handling. In these cases:

  • Shipping options may be limited or adjusted

  • You may be contacted for manual confirmation and approval of the final shipping method and cost

 

 

4. Responsibility and Liability

When shipping is handled by Bethwaite Design and our suppliers:

  • The supplier assumes full responsibility for the shipment

  • Any issues related to delivery, damage, or delays should be communicated with the supplier directly

  • Bethwaite Design will assist in coordinating resolution where appropriate
